Meta-data that Photizo will track for each station
- Station Name
- A one-word identifier, unique across all networks
- PakBusID
- Moxa IP (if applicable)
- Com port (if applicable)
- Station Descriptive Name
- Network (actually, a station will be contained in a network, so does not have to explicitly name its network)
- Descriptive or “display” name
- Location Description
- e.g. Ridge southwest of Umiat Mountain
- Latitude
- Decimal form
- + is North, - is South
- Longitude
- Decimal form
- + is West, - is East
- Magnetic Declination
- Elevation (meters)
- Data File Directory (used internally in Photizo)
- Data File Base Name (used internally in Photizo)
- Output Directory (used internally in Photizo)
- Template Map (used internally in Photizo)
- Tables being transmitted from station
- What sensors are in each table, and whether that sensor (column) needs conversion from raw units to “human” units
- Time Zone in which the sensor readings are being reported
- This information will probably need to be added to the timestamp when it is imported, so if the time zone changes, it will not invalidate previous readings
- Remarks
- Contact(s)
- Site Photos (?) Probably not in the database…up for debate
- Slope and Aspect
- Vegetation (Site and Area)
- Topography
- Soil Type
- Datalogger type and serial number
- Multiplexor type(s) and serial number(s)
- Power supply(ies) and serial number(s)
- Current program name, version and author
- Program history (when what versions were uploaded)
- Other datalogger program metadata?
